The Swiss sure aren’t the only ones who bell their cattle. All the cattle that spend the summer grazing in the high country here wear bells. It helps in locating them in the fall when it’s time to gather them and bring them home. Of course the bells with a pleasant sound are prized over others. Sounds pretty when you hear them at a distance in a high mountain meadow.
